From Storyteller to "Life-preneur"

A Note from Ronda

When people ask me what I do, it's one of the most challenging questions for me to answer. I probably have a deer in the headlight look while struggling to find the words that somehow might make me seem I'm clueless or I hold a profession I wish for people not to know about! Though neither is the case. Due to circumstances of necessity, and at times, the sheer desire for experience, I have held several positions throughout my life and have found ways to generate income that create a list far longer than that of the average person's. I've also experienced the many of perceived hardships in life that have lent to my ability to adjust and take risks, while also providing opportunities for me to keep moving forward, regardless of the circumstances.

I am a storyteller at heart--from writing to acting to filmmaking to speaking--and hold the belief that we relate, connect, and grow through stories, so virtually all tasks that I take on have a component of storytelling in them. Further, after years of struggling to "define" what I do--and labels are not my favorite thing--the term "life-preneur" came to me to best describe my overall "life occupation."

With all that said, regardless as to what my "title" is, it's important that I am of service to those I choose to support, and that I do it with compassion, integrity, purpose, and presence. If you're looking for a way to use your voice effectively in this world, are dealing with relationship struggles, have an ongoing chronic illness that you perceive is stealing your life away from you, facing financial struggles as a single woman, have questions about your purpose and trusting your intuition, or you would love to alleviate stress while working in the corporate world, I can relate, and I have the background and presence to support you if you're interested and open to it.

If you're a business looking for a speaker to motivate and inspire, in need of HR consulting, or would like to discuss the identification of patterns and business strategy, I have more than fifteen years of experience in HR management and serve as a Career Advice Expert writer for online columns.

With more than fifteen years of moving through the discomforts of chronic illness, I also serve as an advocate for health and wellbeing and "chronic wellness expert."

I'm here to support you and your business in achieving your next right step or goal, whatever that might be.

With Appreciation,
